mailto:>rabaron@pipeline.comI suspect that the images are being sent from Mac's - since they don't necessarily attach the format identifiers - unless someone does it for you - which you can request from people sending you images. I don't know what you could do other than trying to open the mystery images from within your image application - which I'm sure is what you're already doing? Or if you can open them in a browser - usually the title bar up at the top will say what file format it is and what the dimensions are....
