Digital Projects Coordinator, Standards Program, Getty Research Institute.

Coordinate and manage digital initiatives that provide online access to the collections of the Research Library and faci itate the exchange/sharing of information. Develop strategic, long-range plans coordinating resources. Provide profess onal expertise and support to collections technology projects. Coordinate staff from multiple departments. Is project iaison with the Getty Museum Digital Imaging Lab and outside consultants. Responsible for project teams. Manage projects requiring expertise/interaction with widely diverse organizations and individuals. Develop and be responsible for proje t budgets, project plans and short- and long-range strategies for storage and preservation of digital and other media. emain current in new standards/technologies. Serve as specialist on digital media production and preservation issues. raduate degree in the arts, humanities, information science or library science required. 5-10 years experience in manag ng complex digital imag! ing and technology component projects. Academic library experience preferred. Skilled in project planning, management, nd implementation; staff supervision; strong aptitude for problem solving. Understanding of library systems, digital ima ing and preservation, photographic processes, and information technology required. Excellent salary and benefits.
