I saw it in operation at a show in NYC.  It seems to work quite well, but
talk about moving parts!?!  That is, if you saw the same thing--a scanning
mechanism moves down the front of the microfilm reader's screen.  For the
situations where scanning occasional images from a lot of film is required, I
guess it has a place.  If your budget can accommodate it.
