I'm compiling a list of recent articles on imaging in libraries for a group of graduate library and information science student interns that I am supervising this summer. These 5 students will be reading and discussing articles on topics including imaging and preservation/access, indexing of image databases, and interfaces for image databases. They will train patrons to use the library's imaging stations (which provide access to image databases available on the Internet) and survey users on their use of this service. I imagine the participants of this list know of some good articles that I haven't identified. If you know of articles that you think would be useful for this purpose please send citations directly to me Wednesday (July 6) or Thursday (July 7). I will post the results to the listserv.
