Hello to the Liverpool University Image Database Group from
Flagstaff, Arizona, U.S.A.:

We are a mid-sized state university library on the verge of
digitizing approximately 200,000 images from our Special
Collections.  At this point, we are just gathering information.
As things proceed, we'll have some insights to share, no doubt.
Our current tendency is towards a networked, Unix-based system
that will allow access to image files and related text files
and bibliographic records in MARC format.  That's about as far
as we've gotten.

We would like very much to receive a copy of your report.  We
have printed off the questions, and will respond when we have
some knowledge and expertise to share.  Meanwhile, could you
