The following is posted to several lists, please forgive the

COMPUTERS AND THE HISTORY OF ART STUDENT AWARD 1995

The Computers and the History of Art Committee is offering a student award for 1995. The award will be for work that involves the application of computers to some aspect of Art and/or Design History. The student award will be for a written work. The work can be either an essay on a critical, historical or theoretical issue, or a description of a project, or an idea for a project.

The written piece should not be more than 5,000 words in length.

The award will be L200 (200 pounds, approximately $300.00) and the winning entry will be published in the journal, COMPUTERS AND THE HISTORY OF ART.

The closing date for submission of the entry is September 1, 1995.

The award will be announced at the Annual Conference of Computers and the History of Art (CHArt) hich will take place on November 30- December 1, 1995 at the Museum of London, London, England.
