Bob: The NAMES Foundation will receive a high quality digital image archive from which a publication will be derived. However the nature of that publication(s) has not been determined as of yet.
An interesting part of the project was that after doing tests with different film formats and examining image quality requirements, we were able to recommend procedures for the photographic documentation process that provided superb color management at rates typical of flat scans. Prints of the individual panels of the quilt done a Kodak 8600 and Kodak XL7700 are stunning. I'll show you at the next conference we run into one another.
