This is a thank you to all the neat people who responded to my plea. My
Microtek scanner would quit after 14 to 15 scans and force me to back out
and reboot the computer. After whining to the company, they remained
adamant that it was my machine with too much on it, for five months, they
have finally released the latest version of the twain driver and all
appears to be well in Baton Rouge. I scanned 25 scans several times in a
row and to my delight I never saw the dreaded Louisa.Dll message. The
new version has even sped up the process sooo I suspect that the gremlins at
Microtek totally revamped the software. Again thanks. It is a good feeling
to know that others out there care enough to respond and help out when things
are not going well. I hope I can return the favor.
