Sunday morning at the American Library Association conf in New York City, I attended an overview of the Library of Virginas digital collections initiative. You might recall seeing a message about it a couple months ago. http://images.vtls.com/When I dashed off a message to IMAGELIB on the 4th in reply to Jennifer Bashers message about cataloging images, I neglected to mention VTLS. I think VTLS has done a very good job making these materials available via WWW, making them searchable, and doing it in a relatively short timeframe.
I encourage you to check it out. If you have questions or comments, I hope you'll post them to IMAGELIB.
Regards, Stuart
