I use an Agfa Horizon+ flatbed scanner, capable of 2400dpi scans,
I scan B&W glass and film negs, an colour transparencies of all
formats.
But colour negs-....
I hate to tell you this, colur neg scanning is only for the experts..
Even the Agfa rep says "leave it alone"
They get colour prints made and scan them.(True!!)
Coluor neg film base varies from film to film and brand to brand. So
each type of film will produce a varying degree of orange cast.
unless you are prepared to put many, many hours into this, outsource
your scans or use transparency film.
Kodak PIW workstations for CD-Rom PCD files may be of help.
