Autocad which produces vector drawings (ie math calculations) can save drawings to a raster file ( ie bitmap) but be prepared for a quantum jump ion file size. The word on the street was that Illustrator by Adobe had a conversion capability for CAD .dwg , but they dropped it in the final version 6. Architects do this conversion quite often for their promo pieces, but as I now try to steer clear of CAD, I can only tell you that both Form-Z and AutoCad are convertable. I will forward your ? to some practicing Arch friends who do it all the time.
