It's 212 images are culled from the collection of The Art Institute of Chicago, spanning 5000 years and the entire globe. To allow a full understanding of how the title works, we have created a (rather rough) simulation online. Using Gustave Caillebotte's painting Paris Street; Rainy Day, you can discover the functionality of the interface by clicking on each button surrounding the image.
