Pardon my somewhat flip response to a recent question about whether or not it was possible to prevent images and text from being copied or printed. I think a better answer is to recall that until recently, much software was copy protected. This meant that you could load it the requisite number of times (usually once or twice) then the disks would not work. This was such a nuisance and there were so many programs out which could bypass copy protection that is has been virtually abandoned. Now the software industry relies on user honesty and the criminal justice systems to protect it investments. We at the University of Maryland have a formal ethics program and require all account holders to read and acknowledge an ethical use policy statement. In the long run, I think this will be the best protection. (Body guards just plain cost too much :-) Walt Walter Gilbert, Asst.
