I have used them some for personal photography. My understanding is that
they buy unused 35mm movie stock from Hollywood and package it as standard
photographic film. That's why it requires special processing. The quality
seems good. I got one batch on disk, but the resolution was routine--hardly
anything to jump up and down about. (It had to be or they couldn't have
shipped it on one or two disks.) Color seemed fine. Whether they will do
custom resolutions I don't know. They will now send it to you on the Net,
though, if you're patient enough to download it.

I have no complaint about the quality of the negatives, slides, or prints, but I have the naive eye of a nonprofessional.
