I too have used Seattle Film Works for personal photography, and I too have the naive eye of a nonprofessional. However, I do have complaints about the quality of the results I've achieved. The digital results are OK if you plan to use them for screen display. But they do not compare with PhotoCD. The online delivery is potentially convenient, but I found it cumbersome. The fact that the format is proprietary bothers me (Kodak can get away with it, with SFW I'm dubious). And the prints are definitely not up to the quality of my corner drug store.
And I've been dissatisfied with the service as well: much slower than advertised.
