I would think that most of the current draft standards from the Audio Engineering Society (AES recommended practice for Audio preservation and restoration - Storage of ployester-base magnetic tape. DRAFT AES22-xxxx) would be operative for the storage of any taped media, analog or digital. Factors include things like: tape pack, envoirnmental conditions storage housing, magnetic fields, fire protection, etc.John Gibbs (206)543-1159 Music Library http://weber.u.washington.edu/~gibbs/ University of Washington
