I see definite differences in quality of the printout from my Epson Stylus Color printer, among: 1. plain (typewriter/laser) paper -- pretty bad 2. ink-jet paper (standard from Office Max)-- excellent for text 3. Epson's 360 dpi coated paper -- fairly nice for photos 4. Epson's 720 dpi coated paper -- really nice photos

I haven't tried any non-Epson coated paper, if that's what you're asking about.
