A faculty member has been digitizing slides using a leaf scanner to add
to the image database we have created in the library. The images are
saved as jpegs. The problem is netscape insists on serving them up as
broken images.

I can bring the images up in photoshop and they seem fine. If I manipulate them and save them again (in photoshop) as jpegs, netwscape can view them.

All the jpegs I have created from photo cd are all ok for netscape.

Has anyone had a similar problem? If so how have you fixed it. I really do not want to have to bring up all 300 images once they are already on the server.

Thank you. Reply to me or to the list...
