After reviewing the recent discussion about Access and SQL in the IMAGELIB archive, I was curious to know of anyone's experience(s) migrating Access data into SQL. Were there any major problems, issues, disasters, or was it a smooth process?Background: we are digitizing our photo collection (14,000 items) and about 1,000 postcards, each of which will have a database record. Initially we're building an Access database and hope to move it into SQL before we make the whole thing available via the Web.
