Alex, from your message, I'm not sure if you want to create one data base for your drawings, one common drawing directory, or patch (stitch) pieces of each affected drawing together to make them whole. If it's either of the first two, no problem, but if you are trying to piece together a drawing whose parts are in different formats such as various CADD files (vector) and scanned files in various raster formats (tif, cals, etc.) you may have a trouble since this is typically done over time as each drawing is revised. This requires vector/raster overlay software to create and maintain hybrid or composite drawings. Please clarify your objective.

I have a number of engineering drawings that have been microfilmed and then scanned at different times. At this time I like to stitch them back together using a software package. My goal is to put two or three files together and have one file that will be the complete engineering drawing. Does any body have any solutions. M. Jourabchi
