Hello IMAGELIB list,
We have recently purchased a new scanner (Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL) and
SilverFast Ai with IT-8 calibration (Photoshop 5.0 plug in). We have
calibrated the scanner and monitor and have been very pleased with the
performance overall. However, there is one glitch that we have been unable
to work out. Perhaps someone on this list has experienced the same problem
and can shed some light on this for us.
The one problem that we are having is with the following settings:
scan type set to 36 -> 24 bit colour
scan mode set to Normal (file) or Batch Mode (file)
under "Option", CMS, scanner -> internal set to Calibration
under "Option", CMS, internal -> output set to CIE-LAB
With these settings SilverFast crashes in the midst of scanning. Has anyone
else experienced this? I have tried every possible variation with these
settings, and have had no other problems. Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks,
Susan Allen
