So tell me; what is "good enough?" How important is time? How big are the images? What kind of images are you printing?

Are the full-color images the Shinko claims to produce full-page 300dpi images?

Are you light use (occasional pages) or heavy use ("heavy" needs defining -- a full page full color image may take 15 to 30 minutes).

The Shinko has a SCSI port; most printers with SCSI use the SCSI for external hard disks. Be specific when you talk to the vendor -- will the Shinko speak to your computer directly over that port?

Are you planning to share the printer on a network?

How good are the inks? Are they stable with time? How big is the gamut?

Do the printers support any color matching technologies?
