Dear ImageLib friends.
I love this list and the help I have received. I feel I have many kind, if
faceless friends here.

Having said that, I must also say that, as an artist, I cannot understand the questions about transforming photographs into drawing. Drawing is an expressive act; the artist makes intelligent, thoughtful decisions at every turn; A good line drawing will NOT follow the contours of a photo; to do that would produce a lifeless spiritless mask.

Scanning is great for some things, photography is an art in itself; but so is drawing.

Get an artist!
