Is there anyone who has had experience or knowledge about
"watermark" software. I believe that this would be a program that
would put a visible mark on digital image files. It might say something
like "Do Not Copy" or "Not to be used for printing". The enduser of
the files would therefore have a difficult time using it for anything
other than say either reference materials or perhaps creating a mock up of
a design. The objective would be to make sure that my endusers do not
use low res files for final artwork. And since I plan to make a reference
collection of my images available worldwide inside of my company, I will have
little control once I publish. Stock photo agencies are using this software
right now but I am not sure if they would tell me how they do it.
thanks
