Vidar Systems has an actual xray scanner that connects to a Mac or IBM. The prices for an 8-bit scanner start at approx $13,000, 12-bit $16,000. I plan on testing a unit within two weeks on a mac. The images will go to a dye sub printer and a film recorder.
