I recently had a vendor try to scan 14th century manuscripts from microfilm. The vendor's hardware/software combination only supports black/white digitizing. Does anyone know of vendors who can generate 8 bit grey scale images from microfilm? Please repond to me directly to avoid cluttering up the list and, if there are responses, I will post them in one batch.Thanks in advance for any help you can give me on this.
