The definition of archival is set forth in the contract with the Agency. It specifies certian measurable paramaters including such things as density and resolution. I do not know how long the agency plans to keep the silvers, but the originals are destroyed about 2 weeks after the silvers are made. However, I do not believe that their requirements are close to 500 years. For this application, it is our belief that either COM or Scanned electronic image would meet the requirements.
