Hello,We are in the planning stages for an electronic course reserves project. The materials scanned will consist mostly of text, with occasional illustrations, no color.
If, for example, we choose to scan at 300dpi, what options can anyone recommend for compressing the resulting .tiff files (ca. 1MB per page) to a manageable size. Also, is there support for muti-paged .tiff files (at present, we are scanning each page to a separate file)?
Thanks
Carl
