I was amazed myself to discover that. Fujutsu leave it to vendors to supply useful software.

Checks with my own investigation - any further comment welcome!

That sounds right, but I would welcome any further information!

Watermark Professional is supposed to. I am expecting to get this package very soon, so I will post confirmation. However, it may be that you still need the ISIS "software engine" - something that does middleware between the application and the scanner. We have the Kofax KF-920 for that purpose. There appears to exist a Canon and an Epson interface around, but am not sure (vendor talk only, so far). Apparently you can purchase this at the same time as Watermark.

On the other hand, Ariel may already include the ISIS interface engine (since you can run the scanner with Ariel....). All we have to do is find out from RLG which driver it has (the imaging engine in Ariel appears to be Accusoft's)... and order Watermark with the appropriate interface option (no extra cost). Once installed on the same computer, Watermark may sense and use the already installed ISIS interface.

Would be interesting if that were possible. Any suggestions?

Good luck with this one - and keep me posted, please!
