If you consider the media cost ($10) insignificant, then if you plan to make more than 25 CD-ROMs (640mb each)at $125 each, you have paid for your own CD recorder. Most servers will allow the addition of several CD-ROM players, so the server space problem goes away, sort of. We have 2 servers (NOVELL) with CDs, one with 24, the other with 7; it works fine.
