We had multiple headaches with our Microteck Scanmaker IISP (we had problems
with unexplainable lack of memory messages - then crashes), then put it on
one of our Macs, installed the necesary drivers from Microteck and have had
no problems ever since . I don't mean this to sound like a turf war, but
quite a few people I have talked to have had troubles with their units on IBM
machines. If you haven't already, give Microteck a call, their tech help is
quite good. The person who helped us was Ed Moon. I have found that if you
FAX them they will get back to you within 24hrs.
