of value to a wide-ranging audience, including: land-grant university
libraries and their clientele, arboreturms and garden centers, artists,

-File Format: Resolutions of 24-bit color and thumbnail sketches in Kodak
PhotoCD format originally; Pitt has converted this to TIFF (Tagged Image File
Format) and GIF (Graphics Interchange Format).  The CD-ROM will supply TIFF
images only.

-Software:  Web access: software developed by Pitt using ONTOS
object-oriented software.  CD-ROM:  Windows Personal Librarian 3.0 from PLS,
Rockville, MD.

-Other:  Indexing/Subject Access Points:  Terms in the descriptive text have
been used to provide access points to the images.  Descriptive terms from the
