Dear Listserv,I am currently trying to clean up some of the images on our Website, and with some frequency I encounter jpg's (or gif's, for that matter) which only partially show up (it's as if they stop loading in the middle of the page). I downloaded the images and tried to open them in Photoshop, which then gives me the following error: "Could not open the image because a JPEG marker segment length is too short;" for gif's, the message reads: "...because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered." Since we do not have back-up for some of the files, I am looking for a way to "fix" these images.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks so much for your help!
