<pre> For digitizing audio, try Chace Productions in Burbank: (818) 842-8346. Their major clients are the studios, and they'r
pros. If they're booked up, they might recommend other vendors.

I've asked this question before and didn't get too many responses. What vendors are out there that do digitization of sound and video, specifically reel-to-reel (I believe 7 in.) audio tape and standard VHS videotape, and store the files on CD or DVD? I know Northern Micrographics does this and we may contract with them to do our work, but first I'd like to know what and where all of the available major vendors are so as to make an informed decision. Our institution is about 40 mi. east of Los Angeles and we would like to deal with a local company if possible but would consider any major, professional vendor.

    Thanks,

    James
