Hi, all.
I have been asked to say something about the "File Info" function in Adobe Photoshop, in terms of adding metadata to an
mage. I thought it would be useful to take a poll. An explanation of the "File Info", as found in the "Help" menu of
hotoshop, is as follows:
Adobe Photoshop supports the information standard developed by the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) and the Intern
tional Press Telecommunications Council (IPTC) to identify transmitted text and images. This standard includes entries f
r captions, keywords, categories, credits, and origins. The captions and keyword entries can also be searched by some th
rd-party image browsers.
Are any of you using this feature to manage metadata? Why or why not? Pros and cons? (I have my own ideas, but just
ondered what others out there are doing.)
