We have a tremendous backlog of doctoral and masters dissertations that need
to be filmed. However, perhaps there is a better way than microfiching, such as
scanning. Has anyone done this, and if so, in what form are they used? Do
agencies such as UMI and the National Library of Canada accept electronically
scanned dissertations? Please reply to me rather than to the list. Thanks.
