Dear fellow IMAGELIB'ers,Lately, IMAGELIB has seen some postings which have nothing to do with our purpose. A few IMAGELIB'ers have asked me, as list "owner," to appeal to everyone to avoid frivolous postings. As you all know, IMAGELIB is an unmoderated list and there's little that can be done to stop these. I am concerned, though, that they could lead to some flaming. We've all seen it on other lists.
So, please do not post messages to IMAGELIB that have nothing to do with our discussions. Also, try not to reply to the list when you really intend to reply to an individual (although we've all done this at some time.)
I'm posting this in the spirit of good cybercitizenship. Please don't take it the wrong way. My Myers-Briggs has me as a definite T rather than an F, so my memos and messages tend come straight out with it rather than wrapped in warm, fuzzy feelings. :>)
