About the presentation:

Most would agree that strong project management is essential for a successful imaging project. But what are the most critical management skills? What is unique about their application to an imaging project in particular?

This presentation by Ron Montgomery will describe these critical project management skills, identify common imaging pitfalls and relate "lessons learned" from other projects. You will walk away with valuable tips that can help you avoid many of the trials and tribulations of imaging projects.

About the speaker:

Ron Montgomery is a consultant with Apex Associates in Kansas City, Missouri. Ron specializes in helping clients utilize information technology to improve business processes. He has been involved in the information systems profession since 1977, and has held positions in systems development, consulting and project management. He received a B.A. degree in Industrial Relations from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO.

Ron has worked with document management and imaging systems since 1987. He is active in AIIM, Project Management Institute and DPMA. Ron speaks frequently on the topic of information management technology and presented at the 1995 AIIM Conference in San Francisco. He also writes a monthly column for Inside DPMA.
