Yes Flash Pixs the format has been released or so it was announced at Seybold in San Francisco. Informix (database) is developing a blade (their component system) to be released soon which can read that file format. This is potentially really exciting in that not only does it take advantage of Live Pictures imaging tachnologies (low RAM, fast regens), but since it is base on their IVUE it is logorythmic ( math) and maybe the computers truly will be able to "read" the images without text descriptions. Look to /www.Kodak.com for more info.Trudy Levy
ps. I have tried twice to apologize for my accidental spam to the list earlier in the week. Of course those messages seemed to have bounced back. If this gets through I do apologize to the list.
