I have heard conflicting reports concerning the accuracy of the ColorTron II colorimeter/spectrophotometer from Lightsource. We are currently testing this unit on monitor calibration, setting white point to match transmissive viewer etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for tests? Has anyone used this unit and with what results? How consistent is it? I am aware of the X-Rite and Gretag products. The price on Gretag is prohibitive at this time. Any help is appreciated.
