The Ministry of Small Business, Tourism and Culture has issued a Request for Information which will close 05/December/1997 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time. A complete copy of the Request for Information is available at our web site is at http://www.pc.gov.bc.ca. The RFI will be found under BC Bid, all Services listed by Posted Date, and the attachment is a "click here" download.
The purpose of the Request for Information (RFI) is: * To inform private-sector vendors of the BC Film Commission's requirements for a system to store, retrieve, and print its library of approximately 130,000 photo images. * To solicit photo-imaging product recommendations and pricing estimates for turnkey solutions from vendors who handle similar photo-imaging applications such as real-estate boards, newspapers, or libraries. * To solicit design and pricing estimates from software development companies for custom-built solutions, which will involve the project phases of, detailed design, software development, and implementation. These solutions may include hardware and software within the pricing component or not.
