     As part of the Preservation Reformatting unit, assist with the digital
     capture of textual and visual materials.  Perform image capture and
     name files, archive files and assist with quality control.


     Bachelor's degree and substantial relevant experience or equivalent
     combination of education and experience.  Working knowledge of
     information technologies associated with digitizing books, documents
     and visual materials; experience with at least one image editing
     software package.  Knowledge of Windows 95 or Windows NT, the WWW, Web
     browsers, HTML and copy photocopy.


     Salary $27,708 and excellent benefits including 3 weeks vacation.
