Can anyone provide a ballpark figure on cost per image for scanning of
images in-house? I'm afraid it's rather a hodgepodge of original
formats and hardware devices: illustrations from books, slides, and
prints of various sizes, in color and black and white, scanned at 600
dpi (relative to size), stored with minimal adjustment, and reduced for
inclusion in an image database. I would be interested in any and all
ideas about costs for such a project, though I have the hardware and
display issues under control.
