The Library of Congress National Digital Library Program announces the online release of the complete content of the RFPs for its three major contracts for image scanning and text conversion services. These have all have been awarded within the last three years:
***Paper scanning - Digital Images from Original Documents, Text Conversion and SGML-Encoding - (which has been available for some time but now a PDF version has been added) ***Microfilm scanning - Conversion of Microfilm to Digital Images - (this is new) ***Pictorial scanning - Conversion of Pictorial Materials to Digital Images - (this is new)
