We're having an "interesting" situation with some tonally difficult
documents and standard high-contrast film. Has anyone had any experience
with continuous-tone film? Any pithy advice about it, or an authoritative
reference? Information seems hard to come by. I think it would be a good
thing to use in this circumstance. I understand that it is now archivally
acceptable, but I know nothing beyond that.

Thank you,
