Hi Judith,
We have a Microtek Scanmaker 5 that we purchased last year. It scans both
reflective and transparency, and has many templates for holding different size
objects. It has a 1000 x 2000 optical resolution, a generous 8.5 x 14" scanning
area and comes with easy to use software. I used a Microtek slide scanner for
years and was impressed by its performance and ease-of-use, which made the
choice for a flatbed scanner that much easier.
