<pre> We are commencing a project to digitise some early newspapers from microfilm and present these on the Internet I would like to see some examples of digitised early newspapers online. So far I have seen examples of periodicals, serials and manuscripts but very few examples of early newspapers. I am particularly interested to see what file formats are being used and 'viewers' that are required at the desktop and ow the user accesses these collections online.

The example I have seen so far is: http://www.newspaperarchive.com/ which uses a "Lizradtech - DjVu" viewer.

    Thanks
