Not even close -- at highest res, the current Coolscan can take 10-12 times longer than the new SprintScan 35. And the Polaroid may even be a tad cheaper if you shop around.

The SprintScan is so new, and currently so much in demand, that it's been backordered from the day it was officially announced. If you want to talk with a well-informed dealer that handles both, try:
Tom Halfacer or Marc Freund Photo Systems, Inc. 7200 Huron Drive Dexter, MI 48130 800/521-4042 or 313/426-4646
