There are lots of regularly-appearing reviews/discussion about slide scanners in recent years. There seems to be very little (almost none?) discussion/review of digital Film Recorders. Is this market really so small and uninteresting that the level of discussion and advertising in all the trade mags/newspapers, and in online discussion groups, approximates nil? Or, can someone point me to some good source(s) of current and/or recurring info (_especially_ critical reviews of products) on Film Recorders?
People still _do_ present information using 35mm slide projection, probably more used than any other visual aid except "overheads". But, most of the projected material is "photographic", i.e., pictures of people/architecture/environment/equipment/etc. I suspect that much more 35mm film containing computer-generated images (presentation artwork) would be used if more people had ready access to film recorders. (like is happening with access to film digitizers [slide scanners]).
Comments, pointers? Peter Rauch
