Trudy and others,

I rented a Nikon RFS 2035 for a month this summer and found it to be very easy to use and quicker than I expected, with results that I'm pleased with. I would have purchased the scanner had I had the money, but am now happy that I only had the money to rent it, as I was able to use it for an extended period and able to try it out without the large investment. I am now looking for the money to purchase it. My advice to anyone wanting to purchase a scanner is to rent one for a week or two and work with it yourself to see how satisfied you are with the results. What I consider fast and satisfactory might not be fast and satisfactory for someone else's needs.
